Its time to say, Eid Mubarak!
As days passed by, the holy month of Ramadan has come to an end. And what marks the end of this month is the white watcher revealing itself from undercover of the clouds making everyone jump with happiness.
Well, Eid is not only about wishing each other but also sharing of joy and warmth with friends family and neighbours. For all my friends unaware, this auspicious day is celebrated by men reciting Eid Namaz and women cooking Kheer, a traditional dish made up of Milk and handful of dry fruits. Kheer along with Biryani (the national loving dish :p) is shared with all Friends,Family and Neighbours. It is a day when there is a warm gettogether and an environment of solace and comfort.
The end of the day is marked by giving "Eidi" to the youngest of the house. I feel nostalgic remembering how I used to get money as Eidi from all members of the house. Now at this stage when i need them the most, none give me :p
Not to extend any further, I wish everyone Eid mubarak, May Allah bless you in all your endaevors and lead you to the path of success and prosperity.
Ameen :)
