happy flourishing!
6:00 pm, Sunday eve, I opened up my calligraphy set and decided to do some word flourishing. I opened up my drawer, removed the piece of paper and glanced through the list of words I have had planned to flourish and someday make a video on each of them, but really, when I was going through the list I couldn't find a word that could foster the inner calligrapher in me. And, to tell you flourishing really requires a lot of time and thinking, so unless you are happy with the word, it's futile to go ahead.
Knowing this, I glanced through the list again, and again, spending like 20 minutes staring at the list, when my eyes fell on that little word sitting in the down right corner, scratched for some reason, I didn't know why.
I looked around and realised how apt that word was, Sitting in a room flooded with the aureate rays falling onto my table, just setting into the twilight, without giving a second thought, I chose 'Dusk'. Meaning 'Close of the day'. Born by an amalgamation of an old English word 'Dox' and a German word 'tusin' meaning darkish.
This was my story for using this particular word for flourishing, Coming back to the calligraphy, at the beginning of the video, I have shown the tools I used, I am again mentioning it here:
pen: Luis creations moblique
paper: Brusto calligraphy papers
Ink: Camlin transparent ink: bright green
Hope it helps!
come back for more flourishing videos!
